Coffee prices averaged USD 286 cents per pound in November, up 11.7% from October. On 29 November, the commodity traded at USD 326 cents per pound, up 29.9% from 31 October.
November’s price surge was the sharpest in seven months and stemmed from supply concerns: Expectations for Brazil’s 2025/26 harvest have been lowered due to a recent dry spell plus the El Niño climate event earlier this year. However, record weakness in the Brazilian real boosted exports, capping the price rise.
