Molybdenum prices averaged USD 44,284 per metric ton in October, up 0.4% from September. On 31 October, the commodity traded at USD 48,502 per metric ton, up 10.0% from 30 September.
Following six consecutive months without significant price movements, prices jumped in late October. The increase came on the back of the start of Fed monetary policy easing in September, the deployment of several stimulus policies in China and a rebound in the latter’s manufacturing PMI in October.
