Natural gas EU prices averaged USD 12.91 per MMBtu in October, up 9.5% from September. On 31 October, the commodity traded at USD 12.91 per MMBtu, up 1.1% from 30 September.
Prices hit an 11-month high in October on the rising risks of a wider war in the Middle East, one of the world’s leading natural-gas producing regions. In addition, inventories were 95% full on 31 October, lower than the 99% seen on the same day last year.
