Angola: Economic sentiment steps into positive territory for first time since Q2 2015 in Q4 last year
Economic sentiment kept its improving trend from its low in Q3 2020 to reach plus 1.0 in Q4 last year, above Q3’s minus 2.0. Q4’s print recorded the first optimistic measure since Q2 2015.
Looking at more detailed data, firms in the manufacturing turned optimistic. In addition, firms in trade were more upbeat, while firms in the tourism, construction and communication sub-sectors improved their sentiment, albeit still remaining pessimistic.
