Angola: Luanda Inflation ebbs in February
Consumer prices in Luanda increased 1.66% in February over the previous month, ticking down from the 2.02% rise logged in January. The print chiefly reflected lower price pressures across the board, with a notable slowdown in groups such as food and non-alcoholic beverages, and clothing and footwear.
Inflation reached 29.6% in February, below January’s 30.5% print. However, the trend pointed up marginally, with annual average inflation came in at 29.4% in February, up from January’s 29.2%.
