Argentina: Economic activity growth softens in October
The monthly indicator for economic activity (EMAE) grew 6.7% year-on-year in October (September: +11.4% yoy). The most pronounced decreases were recorded in the fishing and agricultural sectors.
On a monthly basis, economic activity fell 0.8% in October, following September’s 0.9% increase. Meanwhile, the trend improved, with the annual average growth in economic activity coming in at 8.4%, following September’s 7.3%.
