Argentina: Inflation increases in October
Consumer prices soared 3.76% over the last month in October, above the 2.84% increase logged in September and the marking third consecutive month of acceleration. October’s rise was primarily driven by higher prices for clothing and footwear as well as for food and non-alcoholic beverages.
Inflation rose to 37.2% in October from September’s 36.6%, putting an end to nine consecutive months of decline. Annual average inflation fell to 45.5% in October (September: 46.6%).
