Argentina: Inflation falls for seventh consecutive month in July
Consumer prices increased 1.93% over the last month in July, below the 2.24% increase logged in June. July’s rise was primarily driven by higher prices for home equipment and maintenance, clothing and footwear, and recreation and culture.
Inflation eased to 42.4% in July from June’s 42.8%, continuing its downward trend for the seventh consecutive month. Annual average inflation fell to 49.2% in July (June: 50.2%).
