Belarus: Industrial output growth gains momentum in July
Industrial production gained momentum in July, growing 7.5% year on year (June: +7.1% yoy). The upturn was primarily due to faster momentum in manufacturing plus electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply output. That said, growth slowed in the water supply, and mining and quarrying sectors.
Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average growth of industrial production coming in at 5.4%, down from June’s 8.0% reading.
