Belarus: Industrial output records best reading since January 2022 in June
Industrial output expanded 6.0% year on year in January–June (January–May: +4.1% yoy). June’s print marked the best reading since January 2022. The reading reflected a broad-based improvement, with activity in the manufacturing, mining and quarrying, and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply sub-sectors all improving in June.
Meanwhile, the trend strengthened significantly, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at 1.5% in June, contrasting May’s minus 2.1%.
