Belarus: Industrial output contracts at sharpest pace on record in April
Industrial output contracted 10.6% year-on-year in April (March: -6.4% yoy). The result marked the worst result since current records began. The notable downturn was primarily driven by a noticeable decline in manufacturing.
Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average growth of industrial production coming in at minus 2.1%, down from March’s 1.9%.
