Belarus: Industrial output slows in September
Industrial production grew 0.7% on an annual basis in September, half August’s 1.4% expansion. September’s moderation was largely driven by contractions in the manufacturing, mining and quarrying, and water supply sectors, which more than offset the soft expansion in the electricity, gas, steam, hot water and conditioning supply sector.
Lastly, annual average growth in industrial production decreased to 1.1% in September from 1.4% in August, marking the lowest reading since February 2017.
