Belarus: Industrial production subdued in February
Industrial production grew 0.9% year-on-year in the January-February period, matching January’s result. In turn, annual average growth in industrial output decreased to 4.1%, from 5.0% the previous month.
The meager industrial-sector turnout reflected a fall in manufacturing activity in January and February. On a brighter note, mining and quarrying, and the utilities supply increased through the first two months of the year.
