Belarus: Inflation holds stable in April
Inflation came in at 5.6% in April, matching March’s figure. Looking at the details of the release, price pressures for food eased, while price growth for recreation and insurance accelerated.
The trend pointed up slightly, with annual average inflation coming in at 4.3% in April (March: 4.2%).
Lastly, consumer prices rose 0.40% from the previous month in April, a smaller increase than March’s 0.50% rise. April’s result marked the weakest reading since August 2023.
