Belarus: Inflation recedes in April
Consumer prices were stable over the previous month in April (March: +0.4% month-on-month), with lower prices for services offsetting higher prices for food and non-food goods.
Inflation decelerated to 5.5% in April (March: 5.8%), moving closer to the Central Bank’s 5.0% target. Meanwhile, annual average inflation reached a one-year high of 5.2% in April (March: 5.1%).
