Belarus: Inflation continues trending up in February
Consumer prices increased 1.3% over the previous month in February, up from January’s 0.9% print. The result reflected higher prices in all sub-components, with services reporting the fastest increase.
Inflation rose to 6.2% in February (January: 5.8%), moving further above the Central Bank’s 5.0% target. Meanwhile, annual average inflation edged up to 5.1%, from January’s 5.0%.
