Belarus: Inflation moderates in June
Inflation came in at 2.7% in June, which was down from May’s 3.5%. Looking at the details of the release, food inflation decreased faster, while non-food prices declined. Meanwhile, price pressures for services were stable from May.
Accordingly, annual average inflation fell to 10.9% in June (May: 12.2%).
Lastly, consumer prices increased 0.30% in June over the previous month, contrasting the 0.28% drop logged in May.
