Belgium: Consumer sentiment rises to over one-year high in September
Consumer sentiment came in at minus 5.0 in September, up from August’s minus 7.0. September’s result marked the strongest reading since February 2022.
Consumer views about the overall economic outlook improved. Additionally, sentiment regarding the labor market for the upcoming twelve months surged to its highest point since July of the previous year. That said, households’ outlooks regarding their future financial situations and their intentions to save deteriorated slightly.
