Bulgaria: Economic sentiment deteriorates in November
Economic sentiment fell to 105.5 in November from October’s 107.0. As a result, the index remained above the long-term average of 100, pointing to a positive near-term outlook for the economy.
The headline print reflected weaker sentiment in the industrial sector and cooling consumer confidence. More positive, November saw healthier sentiment in the construction sector. Meanwhile, confidence in the services sector strengthened in November, while sentiment in the retail sector improved in the surveyed month.
Relating to indicators that are not used to calculate the index, employment expectations improved, while the economic uncertainty index fell in November.
