Bulgaria: Industrial output expands at fastest pace since September 2022 in April
Industrial output rose 6.5% year on year in April, which contrasted March’s 10.8% decrease. April’s print marked the best reading since September 2022. The figure was largely driven by a rebound in manufacturing output. In addition, mining production fell at a softer rate.
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, factory output rebounded notably, rising 3.3% in April (March: -0.4% mom). Meanwhile, the trend improved notably, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at minus 7.9%, up from March’s minus 9.3%.
