Bulgaria: Industrial activity drops again in June
Industrial output decreased 8.2% year on year in June (May: -6.5% yoy). Looking at the details of the release, the decline in mining output worsened, while manufacturing output dropped at a softer pace in June.
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial output fell at a more moderate pace of 0.2% in June (May: -2.4% mom). Meanwhile, the trend improved, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at minus 7.6% in June, up from May’s minus 7.7%.
