Bulgaria: Industrial output drops again in June
Industrial production dropped 9.3% year on year in June (May: -8.6% yoy). June’s sharper drop was partly driven by a bigger contraction in manufacturing production. Meanwhile, mining output continued to fall at a sharp pace.
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial output rose at a more moderate pace of 0.7% in June (May: +1.5% mom).. Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average growth of industrial production coming in at 0.2% in June, down from May’s 2.4%.
