Bulgaria: Industrial output growth drops to six-month low in April
Industrial production grew 13.2% year on year in April (March: +19.7% yoy). The reading was largely driven by a deterioration in manufacturing output growth. In addition, mining output lost steam.
On a seasonally-adjusted monthly basis, industrial output fell 0.4% in April (March: +5.2% mom)—the worst result since May 2021. Meanwhile, annual average industrial production growth fell to 12.8% in April (March: +13.6%), signaling a worsening trend in the industrial sector.
