Bulgaria: Inflation falls in March
Consumer prices fell 0.6% from the previous month in March, contrasting February’s 0.1% uptick. According to the Statistical Institute, February’s increase largely reflected lower prices for transport; recreations and culture; communications; and clothing and footwear.
Meanwhile, inflation slid to 3.0% from February’s 3.7%, marking the lowest reading in five months. Lastly, annual average inflation was stable at February’s 3.2%.
