Bulgaria: Inflation at six-month low in June
Consumer prices fell 0.6% from the previous month in June, contrasting May’s 0.1% uptick. According to the Statistical Institute, June’s drop largely reflected lower prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages, and clothing and footwear.
Inflation fell to 2.8% in June from 3.5% in May, marking a six-month low. Meanwhile, annual average inflation inched down to 3.3% in June from 3.4% in the prior month.
