Bulgaria: Inflation falls to lowest level since December 2016 in November
Consumer prices rose 0.11% in November over the previous month, below the 0.64% rise seen in October. The moderation largely reflected weaker price pressures for alcoholic beverages and tobacco as well as for clothing and footwear.
Inflation came in at 0.4% in November, which was down from October’s 0.8%. November’s figure marked the weakest inflation rate since December 2016. Accordingly, the trend pointed down mildly, with annual average inflation coming in at 2.0% in November (October: 2.2%). Harmonized inflation fell to 0.3% from the previous month’s 0.6%.
