Bulgaria: Inflation inches up to six-month high in April
Consumer prices rose 0.5% from the previous month in April, following March’s 0.1% uptick. According to the Statistical Institute, April’s climb largely reflected higher prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages, and transport.
Inflation ticked up from 3.6% in March to a six-month high of 3.7% in April. As a result, annual average inflation edged up to 3.3% from 3.1% a month earlier.
