Colombia: Consumer confidence improves in December
According to a survey elaborated by Fedesarrollo, consumer confidence came in at minus 22.3 in December, up from November’s minus 24.8. Despite the uptick, the index remained entrenched below the 0-point threshold, indicating pessimism among consumers.
The improvement was due to lesser pessimism in consumers’ view of their present and 12-month economic situations as well as the country’s general economic condition.
