Colombia: Economic activity growth deteriorates in July
Economic activity rose 1.2% compared to the same month a year earlier in July, which was a deterioration from June’s 1.7% increase. The downturn was broad-based, with agricultural and services output growing less and industrial output contracting more.
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, economic activity fell 0.7% in July (June: +1.1% mom s.a.). Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average growth of economic activity coming in at an over two-year low of 2.5%, down from June’s 2.9%.
