Colombia: Economic activity growth gains steam in June
Economic activity expanded 1.7% year on year in June (May: +0.1% yoy). The upturn was largely driven by growth in the agriculture and services sectors.
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, economic activity rose at a faster rate of 1.1% in June (May: +0.6% mom), the best result since January. Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average growth of economic activity coming in at 2.9% in June, down from May’s 3.5%.
