Colombia: Inflation drops to new record-low in November
Consumer prices edged down 0.15% over the previous month in November, following October’s 0.06% decline. November´s result largely reflected falling prices for clothing and footwear, education, as well as for information and communication.
Meanwhile, inflation slid to 1.5% in November, (October: 1.7%), marking a new record-low and moving further below the lower band of the Central Bank’s target range of 2.0–4.0%. Similarly, annual average inflation declined to 2.7% (October: 2.9%). Lastly, core inflation inched down from 2.1% in October to 1.9% in November.
