Colombia: Inflation falls to over one-year low in November
Inflation came in at 10.1% in November, down from October’s 10.5% and meeting market expectations. November’s figure represented the lowest inflation rate since June 2022.The deceleration was due to lower price pressures for food and transportation.
Annual average inflation fell to 12.1% in November (October: 12.3%). Meanwhile, core inflation edged down to 9.8% in November, from October’s 9.9%.
Finally, consumer prices increased 0.47% over the previous month in November, picking up from October’s 0.25% increase.
