Costa Rica: Consumer prices unchanged in June
Consumer prices were unchanged on an annual basis in June, after posting a 0.3% decrease in May. Looking at the details of the release, transportation prices fell at a slower pace in June. That said, food prices fell at a steeper rate.
The annual average variation of consumer prices edged up to minus 1.5% in June (May: -1.6%).
Finally, consumer prices rose 0.14% over the previous month in June, picking up from May’s 0.08% rise.
