Croatia: Harmonized inflation drops to lowest level since August 2021 in July
Harmonized inflation came in at 3.3% in July, which was down from June’s 3.5%. July’s result marked the lowest inflation rate since August 2021. Looking at the details of the release, price pressures for transportation and housing softened in July.
Annual average harmonized inflation fell to 5.3% in July (June: 5.7%). Meanwhile, consumer price inflation fell to 2.2% in July from June’s 2.5%.
Finally, harmonized consumer prices rose 1.02% in July over the previous month, accelerating from June’s 0.78% rise. July’s uptick marked the highest reading since July 2023.
