Croatia: Inflation comes in at highest level since our records began
Consumer prices rose 0.43% from the previous month in July, slowing down from June’s 1.12% rise. July’s result marked the weakest reading since January. The reading was driven by moderating price pressures for transportation and housing and utilities. Moreover, prices for clothing and footwear dropped.
Inflation edged up to 12.3% in July, following June’s 12.0%. July’s reading was the highest inflation rate since our current records began. Meanwhile, the trend pointed up, with annual average inflation coming in at 7.1% in July (June: 6.3%).
