Croatia: Inflation eases in August
Consumer prices declined 0.3% from the previous month in August, following a sharper 0.5% fall in July. According to the Croatian Bureau of Statistics (CBS), August’s drop was largely driven by a marked decline in prices for clothing and footwear.
Meanwhile, inflation dipped from 1.1% in July to 0.8% in August. Consequently, annual average inflation ticked down to 0.9% from the previous month’s 1.0%.
