Croatia: Inflation returns in February
Consumer prices increased 0.29% from the previous month in February, picking up from January’s 0.10% rise. February’s result marked the sharpest increase in prices since October 2020. February’s upturn was largely driven by higher prices for health, communication and recreation and culture.
Inflation accelerated to 0.3% in February, swinging from January’s 0.3% year-on-year drop in consumer prices. Meanwhile, the trend pointed down slightly, with coming in at minus 0.1% in February, after flatlining in January.
