Croatia: Inflation declines to lowest level since September in December
Inflation dropped to 13.1% in December, following November’s 13.5%. December’s result represented the lowest inflation rate since September. The decline was driven by falling prices for transportation, and housing and utilities. Moreover, prices for clothing and footwear dropped.
Annual average inflation rose to 10.8% in December (November: 10.2%). Meanwhile, harmonized inflation fell to 12.7% in December, from November’s 13.0%.
Lastly, consumer prices dropped 0.33% from the previous month in December, swinging from the 0.91% increase logged in November. December’s result marked the weakest reading since December 2020.
