Croatia: Inflation drops in February on falling fuel prices
Consumer prices dropped 0.3% over the previous month in February, matching January’s fall. February’s decrease was largely driven by falling prices for fuels for personal transport equipment, as well as for food and non-alcoholic beverages.
Inflation fell to 1.5% in February, from 2.0% in January, which had marked the highest reading since August 2018. Meanwhile, annual average inflation came in at 1.0%, an uptick from January’s 0.9%.
