Croatia: Inflation drops to lowest level since March 2022 in June
Inflation came in at 7.6% in June, down from May’s 7.9%. June’s reading marked the weakest inflation rate since March 2022. Looking at the details of the release, prices for transportation fell at a faster pace in June and prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages increased at a softer rate.
Annual average inflation fell to 11.3% in June (May: 11.7%). Meanwhile, harmonized inflation was unchanged, coming in at May’s 8.3% in June.
Finally, consumer prices rose 0.88% in June over the previous month, accelerating from the 0.48% rise seen in May.
