Cyprus: Consumer prices decline again year-on-year in November
Consumer prices rose 0.47% over the previous month in November, below October’s 0.56% increase. November’s result largely reflected higher prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages, and housing and utilities.
Consumer prices dropped 0.6% on an annual basis in November, slightly less than October’s 0.8% decrease. Meanwhile, the annual average variation in consumer prices remained unchanged for the fourth consecutive month at minus 0.5% in November. Lastly, harmonized consumer prices dropped 1.1% year-on-year in November (October: -1.4% yoy), marking the highest reading in seven months.
