Cyprus: Inflation inches up in March
Consumer prices jumped 0.8% from the previous month in March, following February’s flat reading. A breakdown of the sub-components showed that prices for clothing and footwear, and transport recorded the strongest increases.
Inflation inched up to 1.4% in March, from 1.3% in February. Meanwhile, annual average inflation ticked up from 1.8% in February to 1.9% in March. Lastly, harmonized inflation rose to 1.1%, from 0.8% in the previous month.
