Czech Republic: Economic sentiment decreases in September
The economic sentiment indicator, published by the Czech Statistical Office (CSO), fell to 89.2 in September from 93.4 in August.
The business confidence index declined to 89.4 from August’s 93.9. The result came on the back of weaker sentiment in the industry, services and trade sectors.
Meanwhile, consumer sentiment declined in September, with the index falling to 88.3 from 91.0 in August. The decrease reflected households’ growing concerns over the country’s economic situation in the next twelve months.
