Czech Republic: Economic sentiment drops in December
The economic sentiment indicator, published by the Czech Statistical Office (CSO), dipped to 89.5 in December from 90.1 in November.
Consumer sentiment decreased in December, with the index falling to 74.7 from 76.0 in November. The drop reflected households increasing concerns over their own financial situations.
Moreover, the business confidence index decreased to 925 from Novembers 93.0. The result came on the back of weaker sentiment in the construction and trade sectors.
