Czech Republic: Economic sentiment increases in July
The economic sentiment indicator, published by the Czech Statistical Office (CSO), rose to 91.4 in July from 90.3 in June.
The business confidence index rose to 91.1 from June’s 91.0. The result came on the back of stronger sentiment in the industry, services and trade sectors.
Additionally, consumer sentiment jumped in July, with the index rising to 92.7 from 86.8 in June. The increase reflected households’ easing concerns over the economic situation in the next twelve months as well as improved assessments of their current financial situation.
