Czech Republic: Inflation slides in November
Inflation came in at 7.3% in November, which was down from October’s 8.5%. The result was largely driven by a slower rise in prices for housing and utilities. In addition, price pressures for food and non-alcoholic beverages increased at a slower rate. Moreover, prices for recreation and culture grew at a more subdued pace.
Annual average inflation fell to 11.4% in November (October: 12.1%).
Lastly, consumer prices rose 0.07% from the previous month in November, stable from October’s reading.
