Denmark: Business confidence improves slightly in October
Business confidence among firms in the manufacturing sector increased mildly in October to minus 7, from September’s minus 11. As such, sentiment moved closer to the 0-point threshold separating pessimism from optimism. The reading marked the highest print since July.
Meanwhile, sentiment in the retail sector inched down to 11 from September’s 12 while sentiment in the services sector remained unchanged at minus 14. However, sentiment in the construction sector halted its upward trend and decreased slightly to minus 9 in October, from minus 7 in September.
