Denmark: Business confidence records worst reading since September 2020 in June
Business sentiment came in at minus 10.0 in June, markedly down from May’s minus 4.0. June’s result marked the worst reading since September 2020. Consequently, the index moved further below the 0-point threshold, indicating starker pessimism among businesses.
June’s downturn largely reflected a sharp deterioration in sentiment with regard to production expectations. Additionally, firms’ views regarding order backlogs also deteriorated.
