Denmark: Business confidence stabilizes in December
According to the business survey conducted by Statistics Denmark, business confidence stabilized in December at three points, matching November’s revised reading (previously reported: +2 points). Given that the result remains above the zero-point threshold, it signals that manufacturers continued to be optimistic about future economic prospects.
Looking at a breakdown of the components, the outlook on production brightened, which more than offset a deterioration in perceptions regarding order books. Views on stocks of finished goods were unchanged from November.
