Business sentiment ticked up to minus 14.0 in March, up from February’s minus 15.0. As such, the index remained entrenched below the 0-point threshold, signaling sustained pessimism among Danish businesses.
Looking at the details of the release, March outturn chiefly reflected firms’ views with regard to order backlog becoming less pessimistic. Additionally, views regarding stocks of finished goods were more optimistic in March. Lastly, views with regard to order backlog were unchanged.
